John Maynard Keynes is the billy big balls of economics – you’ll hear his theories mentioned by top-ranking politicians as they sharpen the latest job austerity dildo to tear apart our already ragged collective arsehole. Yet the part of Keynes’ theories they conveniently forget to talk about is his prediction that we should all be working a 15 hour week by now, thanks to advances in labour-saving technology.
